High-performance goals as a predictor of supervisor expediency and supervisor bottom-line mentality as a moderator

Expediency is subtle, but it detrimental to the organization. This study aims discover what at workplace prompts supervisor expediency. Based on literature, predicted that expediency results from high-performance goals. Furthermore, bottom-line mentality acts as a moderator between goals and such high strengthens this relationship. The present study’s theoretical framework grounded transactional model of stress coping. Two source data (supervisor-subordinate) are collected private health sector Pakistan, sample size 591 supervisor-subordinate dyads. Findings support hypotheses formulated in study. Statistical underline lead Moreover, confirm moderating effect bottom line mentality. Implications research directions for future also highlighted.
